Fall 2026 IS OPEN
Once teams get above U10, teams are formed as recreational/competitive teams. Even recreational soccer at this age can be relatively competitive.
As a small club, we do our best to find a place for all kids to play which may mean playing up one year with a different team. We try to do this with player development forefront in our mind, but later registrations can be more difficult to place.

GENERAL INFORMATION (Fall 2026)
Team Assignments: Team formation deadline is late July. Any team that does not contain the minimum number of players designated by STYSA will not be formed on this date. A coach will contact you as teams are formed. For new players, this will likely happen mid to late January. If we have multiple teams in your child’s age range, we will inform you of evaluation opportunities so we can build teams of similar skill levels. In the event there is only one recreational team in an age group, players will be guaranteed a roster spot on the same team if:
- the player was registered to the team roster in the prior season
- the player is in good standing
Once the cost increases, all registered players whether returning or not shall be rostered in the order in which they register. Once a roster is full, players may be offered a training player registration at the coaches and club’s discretion.
Payments: Registration fees are divided into two payments: one half is due at the time of registration, and the second is due August 1, the card on file will be automatically charged.
Refunds: We know things happen! You may receive a Full Refund if you withdraw before July 31. You may receive a Half Refund if withdrawn before games begin. No refunds will be issued if you withdraw after the games have begun.

Documentation: A copy of your child’s Birth Certificate or Passport AND a current headshot photo is required to be on file with GotSport. If you are a new player to Lamar SC or using new log in credentials, you will have to upload these documents during the registration process. The photo you upload will be used for player cards. It must be a current yearbook/passport style headshot only. Players will not be assigned to a team until the club has a copy of their birth certificate or passport and photo on file. This is for insurance purposes. If you are unable to upload the Birth Certificate or Passport during the registration process, please email it to lamarsoccerregistrar@gmail.com ASAP. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this.
PRACTICES: Practices normally begin in mid-January for our U9 and older teams that fall under the Houston Youth Soccer Association (HYSA) or South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA). Some of our more competitive teams have continuous year-round practice schedules. If assigned to or trying out for one of those teams, the coach will contact you as soon as they are notified of the registration.
UNIFORMS: The below information regarding uniforms does not pertain to Recreational and Development League (RDL) – their uniforms are issued during practice and are included in registration fees.
We utilize uniforms for at least 4 seasons. Fall 2025 was the first season in the new uniform. New players will be required to purchase new uniforms. Our hummel uniforms are ordered through Soccer Post for our U9 (Div 4) and older teams. New club members will receive an email from Soccer Post after team assignment with a link to order your kit. There are different requirements for uniforms based on age and competition level. Game and practice kits are required for older teams; pricing starts at $175 and can go up from there depending on your selections.
Game Kits Requirements:
1 game green jersey, 1 game white jersey, 1 pair of game green shorts, and 1 pair of game green socks.
Practice Kit Requirements:
1 grey practice jersey, 1 pair of black practice shorts, and 1 pair of black practice socks.
You may order additional kit items, such as jackets and pants or additional game and practice items, through the website even if it is not mandatory for your player. Please note, the window for orders will be very tight and you are responsible for ensuring your child has their kit ordered on time for opening weekend. The club will also send a reminder email to ensure you have received information from Soccer Post to place your order. You can also go to the Missouri City Soccer Post store to check sizes of kit prior to ordering.
Numbers on uniforms are assigned by the club using a pattern to ensure we do not have overlaps in age groups if players are moved to a different team in another season. This may cause some of these numbers to run high. This is quite normal in many clubs, including professional clubs. Numbers on uniforms for competitive and older teams (U14 and up) are done by the club with the coach’s discretion in most cases, as teams are more set by this time. The change is usually made at a uniform cycle at U14/U15.
PLAYMETRICS: Lamar SC utilizes Playmetrics as a tool for player and schedule management. This will provide all players, parents, coaches, and staff members unique access to this all-in-one club management software that is purpose-built. Playmetrics unifies communication, registration, session planning, coach oversight, player development, and club operations into one easy-to-manage hub. Once you are assigned to a team, you will receive an invite from Playmetrics and you will be expected to utilize the website and app for communication with your team and coaches.
Current Fee Schedule & Information for the Fall 2026 Season:
RDL (U5-U8): The fee for RDL is $150. Pricing for RDL is subject to change after August 1, 2026. Any registrations completed prior to August 1, 2026, will not be subject to any price increase. The Fall season first practices will begin in September. RDL Practices will be on Tuesdays. RDL Game days are Fridays starting at 6 pm with the youngest playing earliest. Game times are set once we have player numbers. All activities are at George Park fields.
Please keep an eye on our RDL webpage (https://www.lamarsoccerclub.org/rdl) for updates as the first email notification will not be sent until mid-August. All RDL players get an award at the end of the season!
RDL Spring 2026 Registration will close on August 31 – no exceptions.
Division 4 – U9 through U10: Total season fee is $200. Half of the fee is due at the time of registration, while the remaining half is due August 1, 2026. Practices are twice a week with times TBD under the direction of our volunteer coaches. Games are on weekends and are split between George Park and the opponent’s home fields. Uniforms are NOT included in the registration fee. They are ordered and distributed by Soccer Post and an email with that information will be sent once your child is registered. Additional uniform pieces can be ordered at your own expense should you desire them.
Division 3 – U11 through U19 (DOB 2007-2015): The total season fee for this program is $250. Half of the fee is due at the time of registration, while the remaining half is due August 1, 2026. This is for players that are not already assigned to a competitive team listed. You will be contacted if an evaluation is needed for placement for higher level of play. The majority of teams in this age group are higher level, they do require tryouts and include higher fees. Practices are twice a week with times TBD under the direction of our volunteer coaches. Games are on Saturdays and are split between George Park and the opponent’s home fields. Uniforms are NOT included in the registration fee. They are ordered and distributed by Soccer Post and an email with that information will be sent once your child is registered. Additional uniform pieces can be ordered at your own expense should you desire them.
Qualifying Dynamo/Dash League (EDPL), Super 2 (EDPL), Division 2 (D2L), Division 1 (Classic, State Classic League (SCL) and Premier: The total season fee for this program is $300. Half of the fee is due at the time of registration, while the remaining half is due on August 1, 2026.
These teams are competitive and require a try-out before team assignment. All games are played away at STYSA designated locations. Teams practice a minimum of twice per week with times TBD and under the direction of our volunteer coaches. Games are generally on Saturdays although U15 and up play primarily on Sundays. Uniforms are NOT included in the registration fee. They are ordered and distributed by Soccer Post and an email with that information will be sent once your child is registered and placed on a team. Additional uniform pieces can be ordered at your own expense should you desire them. Because these teams are in a more competitive league and have additional commitments and requirements, the fees are higher. Some teams also have additional fees to support tournament play and extra training gear.
Practice Player – $100 for practice player registration. This allows players to practice and attend team tournaments only. Requires prior approval.
